Maya has had a year of real growth. She began as a careful, curious reader and became a confident one — by spring she was reaching for longer chapter books and explaining her thinking out loud.
Her writing is catching up to her big ideas: she writes more each week and is starting to shape her stories with a clear beginning, middle, and end. In math she moved from counting strategies to true problem-solving, and now loves sharing how she got an answer.
Just as important, Maya shows up each day as a kind, focused classmate who keeps trying when something is tricky. The months ahead are about stretching her writing stamina and easing her through busy transitions — natural next steps for exactly where she is.
